Speaker

Prof Fan Wai Yip received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of London and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge. He did his postdoctoral studies at the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests are in organometallic and inorganic chemistry, focusing on transition metal-catalysed processes relevant to clean energy production and molecular sensing. He is the Deputy Head (Education) at NUS' Department of Chemistry.
