Interdisciplinary BSc (Hons) in Computational Biology programme launched

SCIEX Centre at the Protein and Proteomics Centre officially opened for mass spectrometry instrumentation research

Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, Singapore’s first and only natural history museum, officially opened by Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam, Singapore President and NUS Chancellor

2016

Interdisciplinary Data Science and Analytics course launched, the first of its kind in Singapore launched

2018

Faculties of Science and Engineering partnered with Applied Materials Inc. to establish Advanced Materials Corporate Laboratory to develop materials for semiconductor manufacturing

Pharmaceutical Science Programme launched

2019

Food Science and Technology Programme became a full-fledged department

Wet Science Building officially opened

2020

The Centre for Nature-based Solutions established for climate research

  • College of Humanities and Sciences established
  • It brings together the Faculties of Science, and Arts and Social Sciences, to offer undergraduate interdisciplinary education at scale

New Frontier canteen bagged Platinum Green Mark Zero Energy Building award

Research Centre on Sustainable Urban Farming established to address urban farming challenges

Medicine-Science Library established by merging Medical Library and Science Library
