Dr Goh founded Cadi Scientific in 2003.
Since its inception, Cadi has been at the leading edge of providing advanced medical technology solutions which are very well-received in the market. Many of Singapore’s big hospitals employ Cadi’s location- and contact-tracing solutions.
Its real-time location technologies, incorporated in wearable tags for patients, visitors and staff, helps in contact tracing.
Dr Goh says, “Our tag-to-tag tracing technology was developed for maternity hospitals. However, with some tweaks, it is now helping hospitals fight COVID-19.”
In addition, Cadi’s new hand hygiene compliance system utilises wearables that remind healthcare providers to wash their hands regularly, to minimise cross infection. As health hygiene is widely considered as the single most important way of reducing healthcare associated infections, Dr Goh adds that this innovation is timely.
