Pharmacy 110th Anniversary Bursary fund

The Department of Pharmacy established its first endowed bursary fund in July 2015 to commemorate its 110th anniversary. Alumni, staff, students and friends generously supported the fund-raising drive and $150,000 was raised within a month.
The Department will continue to grow the fund to help its financially needy students to complete their studies. The fund also marks an important milestone in the Department’s 110 years of history and achievements in pharmacy education and service to the public.
NUS Pharmacy celebrated its 110th anniversary with a gala dinner themed “Breaking Ice, Blazing Trails”, held at the Hilton Singapore on 31 October 2015. During the dinner, a cheque for the endowment fund was presented by Mr KWAN Yew Huat on behalf of donors to Prof CHUI Wai Keung, previous Head of Pharmacy and Prof Rachel EE who was in charge of the fund-raising drive.
