Research Programmes
Science Research Programme (SRP)
The SRP is a 1.5 year-long programme jointly organised with the Ministry of Education (MOE) for junior college year 1 and Integrated Programme Year 5 students who wish to seek higher level challenges in science research. Through the SRP, selected students conduct research under the mentorship of NUS faculty members and staff from partner research institutions and agencies. This programme culminates with the Science Research Congress where students present their research findings.

NUS-Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) In^3 Programme
Since 2009, the Faculty has been collaborating with CDAC to implement the annual NUS-CDAC In^3 programme, which aims to enthuse and provide opportunities for students from less privileged backgrounds to learn science through workshops and projects. The programme comprises three phases – first, ‘Science Inspire’ where students participate in workshops; second, ‘Science Investigate’ where students experience short attachments to research laboratories; and third, ‘Science Inquire’ where a select group of students engage in research projects for half a year.
