Fulfillment of Major Requirements
Reading UROPS courses in fulfilment of Major Requirements (For cohorts AY2021/22 onwards)
- For majors in Mathematics, Pharmacy, Statistics and Statistics (with specialization in Data Science) and Statistics (with specialization in Finance and Business Statistics), UROPS courses cannot be read in fulfilment of the major
- For all other majors, UROPS courses may be read in fulfilment of the respective major requirements but subject to conditions laid out in the table below:

Only 4 Units from Level‐3000 CM UROPS courses may be read in fulfilment of the Chemistry Specialization in Chemical Research requirements. |

Only 4 Units from Level‐3000 FST UROPS courses may be read in fulfilment of the Food Science and Technology Specialization in FST Research and Innovation requirements. |

Life Sciences (LSM) |
Only 4 Units from Level‐3000 LSM UROPS courses may be read in fulfilment of the Life Sciences major requirement. |
| Pharmaceutical Science (PHS)
|
Only 4 Units of Level-3000 PHS UROPS courses may be read in fulfilment of the Pharmaceutical Science major requirement. |

Physics (PC) |
Only 4 Units from Level‐3000 PC UROPS courses may be read in fulfilment of the Physics major and*/or specialization requirements (for specialization, UROPS must be within area of specialization). |

- For majors in Pharmacy, Statistics and Statistics (with specialization in Data Science) and Statistics (with specialization in Finance and Business Statistics), UROPS courses cannot be read in fulfilment of the major
- For all other majors, UROPS courses may be read in fulfilment of the respective major requirements but subject to conditions laid out in the table below:

Only 4 Units from either Level‐2000 or Level‐3000 MA UROPS courses may be read in fulfilment of the Mathematics/Applied Mathematics major requirements. |
