My UPIP was with National Parks Board, in the Native Plant Centre at Pasir Panjang Nursery. I was drawn towards this internship as I am passionate about plants and horticulture. My supervisor was also kind and open enough to let me apply my Chemistry knowledge and come up with my own project during my internship. There is no better way to learn about growing our own food crops than getting our own hands dirty, and there is so much knowledge to gain about horticulture which is very applicable especially with current efforts in sustainable development. |
